Hi! "Ski" here. I'm a retired U.S. Federal Communications Commission licensed commercial radiotelephone operator, technician, RF telecommunications advisor, radio vault technical manager, and broadcast engineer. My specialty is non–ionizing radiation hazard assessment.

Responsibilities included installation, repair, and maintainance of everything from high density point-to-point microwave stations, maritime & Land Mobile stations, ship & aircraft radios, dispatch consoles, to sirens and lightbars.

Management responsibilities included multiple agency radio vault management and advisor regarding RF matters, including non-ionizing radiation hazard assessment analysis.

Radio broadcasting has also been a big part of my life on both sides of the "broadcast booth", from broadcast engineer to on-air personality.

Now retired, I simply enjoy doing as little as possible. Yet, somehow, the "things to do" list has grown from 400 pages (double spaced) to 600 pages (single spaced). Go figure...
